This muted mix of fresh and preserved wedding florals was perfect for a transition from summer to fall. So enjoyed designing these bouquets and ceremony features for Shelby & Hunter. Hummingbird Hill Farms in Perry is a gorgeous venue and the outdoor chapel looked beautiful with the floral ceremony features.

From our initial design consultation, Shelby knew she wanted to mix in some dried and preserved elements to her wedding florals. The addition of the sun palms, ornamental grasses, dried wheat and pampas grass was not only used in the bouquets, but also in the ceremony features, the cake, and the guest table centerpieces. These elements provided texture and the mostly neutral tones she was looking for. However, the subtle pops of blue and peach added some color to this mostly neutral color palette.

One of the best parts of the day was setting up the ceremony space, which included two corner arrangements, aisle flowers and loose petals lining the aisle. The florals at the beginning of the aisle and at the end made for a cohesive look throughout the ceremony space. Furthermore, having the muted wedding florals in the bouquets, at the start of the aisle and as a backdrop for the bride and groom really showcased the color palette and various dried elements that they requested. We loved how this floral design turned out for Shelby and Hunter!
